I pet the little kitten’s head
It crankily scratches its meow.
Somehow noticing it’s giant ears
The slanted eyes of spite
And tiny seashell fragment fangs
The tiny fuzzy ball of fur
Becomes something fierce.
A vampire he lifts his head to my wrist
And chomps down hard
Until the blood droplets flank his whiskers,
“Stop giving me your baby talk
And let me get some rest!”
So I shrink away and lick my wounds
Leaving the little vampire alone;
Coming back after a few days
The kitten meets my gaze.
Padding softly willingly
And rubs it’s head within my hand
It’s big blue eyes pleading apology
And the hairs on its neck lay soft
I snuggle up with angel kitty
Who’s had his beauty sleep.

Just a fun little writing. I needed to do some whimsical thing thta didn't take too much work, so I went and looked at fotofriday, who puts up those pictrues weekly. It's a Hard Knock Life came form fotofriday's pictrues too (not thta foto friday takes the pictures..umm..)
